How to Set It Up

Connecting your devices is simple. Here is the step-by-step guide to linking your phone to your Oudie N or Omni.

1. Prepare your Oudie N / Omni

Open Navigator on your main device (Oudie N or Omni) and go to:

  • Settings > Devices.
  • Scroll down to the “Transmit via Bluetooth” toggle.
  • Turn the switch ON.

You will see a new section appear called “Sending to…” waiting for connections.

2. Connect your Phone

On your Android or iOS device:

  • Open your flying app settings.
  • Search for a new Bluetooth device. You will see your Oudie N/Omni appear in the list.
  • Pair the devices.
3. Fly with Confidence

Once connected, your phone will stop using its internal, battery-draining GPS and noisy pressure sensor. Instead, it will mirror the precise data coming from your main instrument. This is the perfect setup for pilots who want a dual-screen cockpit, perhaps using the Oudie N for the main map and task navigation, while a phone running Navigator sits alongside showing a zoomed-out airspace view or a side-view of the terrain.
